In this section of the book, the definition of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and its subtypes of platelet concentrates (PC) are discussed, along with the preparation stages of these subtypes and PRP. Towards the end of the section, a summary of the preparation stages of PRP and its subtypes described in some articles is provided in a table. There have been various approaches to the preparation of PRP and its subtypes. These procedures differ in terms of centrifuge speed and duration, the use of anticoagulants and activators, and other factors. © 2024 Nova Science Publishers, Inc. All rights reserved.
