Özet

Optical wireless communication technology is one of the most important alternative schemes for radio frequency communication. Flip orthogonal frequency division multiplexing OFDM (Flip-OFDM) is a type of indoor optical wireless communication that transmits the positive and the absolute values of negative parts of the signal in two successive OFDM symbols. In this paper, the Fast Walsh Hadamard Transform (FWHT) based Flip-OFDM method (FWHT Flip-OFDM) is proposed to improve the performance of the Flip-OFDM system. Computer simulation studies are performed to test the performance of the proposed method over the bit error rate (BER) and peak to average power ratio (PAPR) performance criteria. From the obtained simulation results, it is observed that the proposed method is better than both VLC-OFDM and Flip-OFDM methods for both performance metrics. © 2020 IEEE.
