This surge in EV adoption has spurred significant interest among researchers in the development of a charging infrastructure capable of accommodating this escalating demand. Against this backdrop, our study focuses on the creation of an Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) network for the Bakırköy district in the Istanbul province—a locale of paramount importance, serving as a cultural crossroads. To address this challenge, we have developed and successfully solved a multi-objective mixed-integer linear programming (MO-MILP) model. The outcomes derived from solving this problem are presented here for the consideration and utilization of the relevant municipal authorities. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccesscharging stationelectric vehiclelocationmixed integer linear programmingmulti objectivepareto frontsizingCharging Station Network: A Case Study in Bakırköy, IstanbulConference Object82Q471
