dc.description.abstractThe study focuses on the studies based on the perception of visitors in museums and museum spaces that have been visited for both historical and both cultural reasons. The aim of this study is to determine the function and perception of museums, which are the places that we actively benefit from in terms of education, culturally and socially since the 18th century, through studies conducted in our country in the last two decades. The reason for limiting the research in the last twenty years is to be able to determine the current situation and to interpret the effects of the age of technology in this field as of 2000s. The study was designed with qualitative method and literature review technique was utilized. The researches based on the perception of the museum are gathered under three headings: Studies on Education Perception, Studies on the Experience and Service Quality in Museums and Studies on the Effects of Environmental Factors on Museum Perception with the data obtained from this study.According to the findings the study, it is concluded that with the developing technology and current requirements, the museums do not meet the expectations as exhibited or protected places, and there are changes in museum concept, museum spaces and therefore museum perception.
dc.description.abstractÇalışma, geçmişten günümüze gerek kültürel, gerekse tarihsel sebeplerle ziyaret edilen müzeleri ve müze mekânlarında ziyaretçi algısına dayanan çalışmaları konu etmektedir. Çalışmanın amacı; 18.yüzyıldan bu yana aktif olarak kültürel ve sosyal anlamda, sonrasında eğitim anlamında faydalandığımız mekanlar olan müzelerin işlevini ve müze algısını son yirmi yılda ülkemizde gerçekleştirilen çalışmalar üzerinden belirlemektir. Araştırmanın son yirmi yıl olarak sınırlandırma sebebi güncel durumu tespit edebilmek ve 2000’li yıllar itibariyle tüm alanlarda etkisini gösteren teknoloji çağının bu alandaki etkilerini yorumlayabilmektir. Çalışma nitel yöntemle oluşturulmuş ve literatür değerlendirmesi tekniğinden faydalanılmıştır. Müze algısına dayanan araştırmalar bu çalışma sonucunda; Eğitim Algısına Yönelik Çalışmalar, Müzelerde Deneyim ve Hizmet Kalitesine Yönelik Çalışmalar ve Çevresel Faktörlerin Müze Algısına Etkisine Yönelik Çalışmalar olmak üzere üç başlık altında toplanmıştır. Çalışma ile gelişen teknoloji ve güncel gereklilikler doğrultusunda müzelerin salt eser sergilenen ya da korunan yerler olarak beklentileri karşılamadığı ve müze kavramında, müze mekânlarında dolayısıyla müze algısında değişiklikler olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
