Aim: To evaluate the nutritional status and social conditions of a group of street children in Cen-tral Anatolia. Methods: A general questionnaire was applied to 75 children via a face-to-face interview. Body weight and height were measured and body mass index was calculated. This study was conducted to evaluate the association between daily calcium (Ca) consumption and serum lipid levels and some anthropometric measurements. Subjects were divided into 3 groups based on Ca consumption as Group 1 (1000 mg/d). Multivariate statistical analysis of data and ıcp-ms determination of heavy metals in different brands of spices consumed in Kayseri, Turkey

The concentrations of Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, As, Cd, Pb, and Zn in 19 different spices from 11 different brands (in total 69 samples) collected from Kayseri, Turkey, were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) after microwave digestion.
