Birleşmiş Milletler’in sürdürülebilir kalkınma kapsamında temel hedefleri arasında yer alan yoksulluğun azaltılması konusu önem derecesi yüksek konular arasındadır. Kamu ve özel sektör enerji yatırımlarının yoksulluk üzerinde etkili olduğu hipotezi bu çalışma da ampirik olarak test edilecektir.
